2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser

The Toyota FJ Cruiser has the most attractive features for off-road cruising in its class. It has imbibed a lot of features from its lineage, the FJ Cruiser has no serious looks but performance is serious. The FJ has been a successful land cruiser and good selling off-road runner for more than two decades. It was only then Toyota started building cars the US market wanted.
Most of the design cues like the white top, round headlamps, Toyota on the hood, windshield are carryovers from the FJ. The 2007 FJ Cruiser has a potent 4.0L V6 engine that is the most powerful in its class, the high-compression 24-valve V6 pumps out 239 hp.
The SUV offers best safety features as standard and a choice of AWD, 2WD, manual, automatic, hi and low transmission with an attractive sticker price. It gets a basic warranty of 36 months or 36,000 miles.

Designed on the lines of the FJ40 and the Toyota 4Runner (michael toyota fresno), it still looks like its predecessors. The square honey-comb grille has the 'Toyota' embossed on it other then the usual logo. A huge black bumper with silver trims on it gives that defensive feel.

The long wheel base and short overhangs give it nice turning radius and great approach and departure angles. The upright windshield and small windows styling protects the occupants from shrubs and dirt during off-road driving. But the distinctive features is the doors, it looks like a two door SUV but has two small ones which open in the opposite direction. The roof rack and the spare tire on the rear door save inner space.

Standard features with the FJ include front dependent dual access panels, full-size spare tire, SBRP265/70R17 BSW, mud and snow tires, exterior rear mounted tire carrier, steel wheels, 17-inch x 7.5-inch power window lockout/override, rear intermittent window wiper/washer, flip-up liftgate window, dual silver manually adjustable exterior rear view mirrors, power windows with driver one-touch up and one-touch down, rear window defroster, rear green tinted glass, front dual sunvisors, variable intermittent windshield wipers, front and rear black bumpers, skid plates located on engine, fuel tank and transfer case, rear black step up bumper, front and rear mud guards, metallic paint (if selected) and wheel flares.

The FJ Cruiser has a powerful engine and is good on mileage considering its weight. It makes 17/22 mpg city/highway and receives the LEV-II rating from the federal government.

The FJ has a full-time 4x4 coupled by manual transmission; it also features clutchless drive and A-TRAC (Active Traction). The A-TRAC helps the SUV steer easily on the rocks. The high and low transmission assembly is very user friendly during steep crawling and descending.

The FJ?s safety list gets stability control, Traction Control and Anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist. The optional list includes front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags for all outboard passengers, daytime running lights and rear park assist.

Toyota presents Yaris (see greensboro toyota truck), the long awaited fuel efficient and minimal car with a low sticker price. It?s a true value for the price tag, for the same reason it was amongst the best selling cars in Europe.

The Yaris is sporty in style, peppy in city and innocent on the highways. The Yaris hatchback and the subcompact sedan share the same 1.5 liter engine and have an array of features to offer. The seats are designed to adjust according to the desired comfort; the interior and dash have been designed separately for both the models.

It?s small, cute and looks sporty too. A distinctive design with a forward-leaning cue, the cute car is vibrant too. In the US Yaris hatch is sold with three doors inclusive of the rear liftgate and the sedan has four doors.

The hatch is curvy and stout with the uniquely designed window sloping forward. The black trimmed B-pillar blends the tinted windows, making the window panel look one piece. The wheel wells accommodate the 14-inch tires well. The wraparound taillight is another unique design element with three sharp corners and the fourth is rounded.

The frontal of the car is where the design team has worked a lot on; the huge wedgy headlight, which extends from the bumper to the windshield, incorporates turnlamp. The crease on the hood extends till the bumper that holds the wing shaped grille.

The sedan also shares the same philosophy; the wing shaped grille has fins with the Toyota badge on it. The crease on the hood extends till the bumper which has a huge airdam and makes the bumper look small. The vibrant design makes the Yaris one of the gorgeous in the class.

Standard features include the SBRP175/65R14 all-season tires, compact spare tire, steel wheels, dual color-keyed manually adjustable exterior rearview mirrors, driver and passenger vanity mirror, tinted glass, infrared glass, intermittent windshield wipers and front and rear bumpers.
